This position will be hybrid with part of the time at our Cantera Constellation office in Warrenville, IL.  PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Senior Project Management Scheduler is accountable to the Project Managers in developing and updating project work for Commerical Construction projects to include breakdown structures and schedules, performing resource loading, and maintaining multi-disciplined engineering and project execution schedules. The Senior Project Management Scheduler will be the scheduling subject matter expert and database administrator for the fleet project management organization. This includes developing and leading training sessions, as needed, performing the governance and oversight of this function, establishing fleet scheduling standards, and maintaining and enhancing the fleet master project scheduling template. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESCoordinate, develop and update project schedules for use in project planning, resource loading and allocation, budget development, and schedule execution for all phases of project execution for Commercial Construction Projects. Utilize and modify pre-established templates to build project schedules.Must be able to work independently, lead meetings, and facilitate discussions to obtain the information to organize activities, assign resources, validate schedule calculations, and perform daily/weekly status updates.Interfaces directly with commercial clients, project team members and vendor organizations, monitors work activities and identifies potential schedule conflicts. Assists in calculating activity earned values. Notifies Project Manager(s) of pending or future schedule discrepancies.Using lessons learned from assessments and other feedback mechanisms, determine initial and ongoing training needs for the fleet Project Management organization. Developing and lead the training sessions. Perform the governance and oversight of the scheduling function which includes establishing fleet scheduling standards and maintaining and enhancing the fleet master project scheduling template.Develops detailed project schedule reports to ensure effective project execution and feedback. Coordinate with project team members directly to update schedule status for assigned activities. Identify project schedule risks and discrepancies and ensure effective and timely communication of these to responsible stakeholders.Lead project scheduling meetings to collect current schedule information MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor degree in a technical or business field with 10 years of discipline-specific experience OR Associates in technical or business field with 12 years discipline-specific experience, High School Diploma with Equivalent 15 years of discipline-specific experience.Extensive experience in scheduling of complex projects Proficient in use of Scheduling Tools, including Primavera P3, P6, MS Project, etcKnowledge of Critical Path Scheduling MethodsTraining and Management experienceTravel required approximately 30%#LI-hybrid  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCommercial Power experiencePIMS/Passport experienceProject Management experience
