Clinical Details
- Average of 5 consults on medical floor
- Patient ages: 18 years to geriatric
- Diverse patient population
- Inpatient Psychiatry
- Approx. 1-2 admissions per day
- 12 bed inpatient adult unit
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 18 months of residency
- Active PA License
Call
- Friday 5p-Friday 5p
- Emergency Calls on a rotating basis on evenings, weekends and holidays
- Batch calls overnight when possible
Support Staff
- Liaison Nurse Team that fronts patients before calling psych, talks to the family
- 2 RN
- 3 LCSWs
- Psychiatric Counselor
- Hospitalist
