Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and establish presumptive diagnoses, implementing treatment plans as needed
- Order diagnostic testing and interpret results, prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote health and well-being
- Master's degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner program)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
