The PACU Clinical Nursing Manager reports directly to the Director of Surgical Services. This role oversees a dedicated team of nursing professionals and works closely with other department managers to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care. Collaboration with the skilled surgical team is essential to the Clinical Nursing Manager PACU role.

The PACU Recovery unit is a fast-paced, supportive environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care. The unit consists of 20 beds and a team of highly trained RNs, all committed to delivering excellent post-operative care. The PACU Clinical Nursing Manager will have the opportunity to work alongside exceptional physicians and dedicated healthcare professionals.

The PACU Clinical Nursing Manager will assist the Director of Surgical Services in coordinating department activities to align with the facility’s mission, vision, and values. This role will lead the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous Quality Improvement. The PACU Clinical Nursing Manager will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate its effectiveness continuously. Additionally, this role will provide clinical support to nursing staff, demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
