Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a PACU Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety during this critical phase of their recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and attention to each patient.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to coordinate patient care and treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care and a positive patient experience.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate degree in nursing with a current RN license.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 60 months of employment.
