We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all established nuclear medicine procedures. Films images and processes films using automatic processors. Considers age-related factors in care, treatment, education and evaluation of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures. Performs all required calibration and quality checks noting results in appropriate logs. Practices Radiation safety and observes universal precautions at all times. Pursues professional development for the continual improvement of patient care. Performs related work as required.QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the documented equivalent education, experience, and training. Licensure: Current certification by CNMT or ARRT (NM). Experience: Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
