Food Matter. This is a position that oversees warehouse, including outside warehouses. The incumbent is responsible for the management of the cycle count program, receiving, shipping, by monitoring the progress of projects, assigning responsibilities, setting priorities, and measuring performance. The warehouse manager will direct the activities of warehouse and will initiate capital expenditure requests.Position Responsibilities?Assist the Director of Operations in running the warehouse.Assist the Director of Operations in meeting warehouse s goals.Provides resources to and interfaces with customer service, QA, purchasing efforts associated with the industrialization of new products and processes.Work with pallet, forklift vendors to optimize pallets, forklift s quality and cost.Set priorities, schedules work, assigns tasks and measures project processes and performer progress.Manages the inventory cycle count program to assure accurate inventory.Manages warehouse barcoding system. Responsible for maintaining hardware in good condition and assuring new hires are properly trained in working with the barcoding program.Actively manage the batch set up process for all full bag production requirements. Includes working with the barcoding program and the production schedule to effectively provide the ingredients to production in an accurate and timely manner.Identifies and leads cost reduction opportunities.Coordinates all food waste (recycle) with Environmental and Safety and Coordinator to assure compliance with all requirements.Prepares and manages warehouse budget.General supervision of all warehouse employees.Other duties, as assigned by Director of Operations???Qualification/Education/Experience Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
