As producers of iconic brands such as Dog Chow, Puppy Chow, and Beneful, we contribute to the well-being of pets in the community and nationwide. As a Controls Technical Specialist II, you ll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system controls data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems. In this role, you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment and work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line modifications.
Execute plant projects and capital projects by providing programming and electrical support through conception to completionImplement control systems software upgradesConfigure, program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Perform troubleshooting of automation systems and provides instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support and training to the plant maintenance personnelPerform Preventive Maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control parts inventoryRequirementsAssociate or technical degree in a related technical discipline5+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PLC-based HMI-systemsOtherDay shift.
