Real Estate Paralegal:

A prominent Real Estate Development Firm in New Jersey is looking to add a Real Estate Paralegal to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly successful 50-year-old company operating throughout the Tri State Region. The ideal candidate would be a certified Paralegal with experience in commercial and residential real estate leasing.

Responsibilities:


  • The Paralegal will work directly with the Executive Vice President in the commercial division acting as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and other outside parties. Responsibilities include coordinating property tours for prospective clients and completing lease documents, including reviewing, editing, and amending leases.

Essential Functions:


  • Participate in the attorney review process which includes drafting and reviewing leases and corresponding legal documentation.
  • New Leases.
  • Lease Addendums.
  • Amendments.
  • Requests For Proposal.
  • Letter of Intent.
  • Estopples
  • Assignments and Assumptions.
  • Lease Modifications and Abstracts.
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties which include maintaining thorough and accurate records and copies of pertinent documents and files.

Desired Requirements:


  • Certified Paralegal
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of commercial and/or residential real estate experience (preferred).
  • Commercial Leasing experience required with the ability to read, interpret, and modify a range of applicable commercial lease templates.
  • Real Estate License is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel.
