Apply today for our RN IVCU PRN opening and continue to learnJob Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Interventional Care Unit (IVCU). In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital. While providing clinical and administrative support on this 18-bed (all private) unit, you will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient’s needs. In this role, you will provide direct patient care on a critical care step down level cardiac, vascular and procedural patients with complex lines, drains, and airways.On our team, you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. You will work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environmentYou will instruct and educate patients and family members.Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State LicenseBLS and ACLS (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross)Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia – (within 3 months from hire)PCCN Certification (preferred)TNCC Certification (preferred)TCAR Certification (preferred)Situated in Portsmouth, NH, Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a premier 234-bed acute care facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. It boasts the region's only comprehensive heart and vascular program, along with 24/7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval programs for both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes.
