Hourly Maintenance Pay starting at $31.50 - $33.50/Hour (based on experience)
$1.00/hr shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

The purpose of Refrigeration Technician is to maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, perform preventive maintenance and install equipment within and around the facility so as to keep the production operational and have zero loss of production. This individual will perform the duties of a Refrigeration Technician and assist other maintenance personnel on his/her shift and will be responsible for all necessary paperwork and documentation as they relate to the job. Core ResponsibilitiesStrong knowledge of basic mechanicsKnowledge of basic HVACKnowledge of ammonia refrigerationStrong knowledge of drive componentsKnowledge of selecting and maintaining bearingsKnowledge the operation of pumpsKnowledge of developing hydraulic troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of basic pneumaticsKnowledge of developing pneumatic troubleshooting skillsInstall and replace bearing and shaft sealsAdhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lock out-Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related itemsQualificationsStrong reading, math, writing, analytical skills required and high school diploma or GED equivalentMust be able to work weekends as neededMust able to lift 100 poundsMust be able to work in confined spacesMust be able to pass a pulmonary function testMust be able to work in -40 to degree temperaturesMust not be afraid of heightsPerform assigned tasks efficiently with minimum supervisionWork Environment & Physical Demands The work environment characteristics and physical described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
