We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThe Line Operator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of a processing line in order to meet plant goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost on a line by line basis. This position reports to the Packaging Shift Supervisor.Key Responsibilities Operates and oversees the operation of a packaging line on a specific shift Observes and reports any mechanical issues to the Supervisor or maintenance department Ensures proper flow of product on each line that that production goals are being met Reports to the Supervisor on line performance to the budgeted goals for each hour to ensure targets are being met and issues that mean production goals are not being achieved are corrected Performs other duties as assignedTypical EducationHigh School Diploma/GEDRelevant Experience Preferred two years plus related experience in a processing facility Must be able to work in a refrigerated area Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure Ability to work weekends, shift work and overtimeOther InformationJob Requisition ID: 20019Travel Required: NoneLocation(s): GF Plant - PascoCountry: United StatesWage range or rate of pay: $20.39/HRThe compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons.Attractive total rewards package that includes: Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) savings plan 10 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (where applicable) Relocation Assistance Program (where applicable) Education Assistance (where applicable) Benefits details available at simplotbenefits.com**The J.R.
