Job Description
Job Title: Reliability Engineer
Experience: Minimum 4 years
Reporting To: Technical Manager
Responsibilities:
Reliability Analysis and Improvement:
Conduct detailed reliability analysis on equipment, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
Data Analysis:
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess equipment performance and reliability metrics.
Interpret and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Root Cause Analysis:
Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify and address underlying issues affecting reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintenance Planning:
Work closely with maintenance teams to develop and optimize maintenance plans based on reliability analysis.
Implement predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to drive continuous improvement in reliability.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of reliability data, analyses, and improvement initiatives.
Generate regular reports for management on reliability performance and recommended actions.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
Provide training and guidance to maintenance and operational teams on best practices for improving equipment reliability.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into the reliability program.
Asset Management:
Contribute to the development and implementation of asset management strategies.
Assist in identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements to enhance overall reliability.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all reliability initiatives adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the entire manufacturing process.
Seek opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Reliability Engineering role.
Previous experience in manufacturing settings is required.
