*Position Overview*
The Materials Management Associate I will assist in a variety of materials management functions; including, but not limited to, purchasing, inventory management, packaging, shipping, receiving and distribution of goods and supplies. This position will work within defined protocols and procedures.
*Essential Duties*
Include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Receive, verify, inventory, or deliver incoming materials. 
* Coordinates specimen materials shipments such as blood, tissue blocks and slides or other sample types and or materials required to support clinical laboratories.
* Prepares shipping documentation, package, and process materials to be shipped in a manner consistent with International Air Transportation Associate (IATA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and import and export customs regulations.
* Maintain inventory and associated records for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, consumables, reagents, and spare parts.
* Perform cycle counts and provide support for inventory control of non-conforming materials
* Handle products using material handling equipment.
* Develop, process, and maintain purchase order requisitions.
* Investigate and resolve material discrepancies and/or other
* Assist with operations process and improvement projects.
* Ability to accurately follow procedures with minimal direction.
* Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
* Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
* Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
* Ability to work overtime, as needed.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 20% of a typical working day.
* Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
*Minimum Qualifications*

* Minimum high school diploma or GED
* 1+ years of relevant work experience in material handling, materials management, warehouse, or inventory control position.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Basic proficiency in computer skills including internet navigation and email usage.
* Ability to be forklift certified.
* Possession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed. 
* No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. 
* No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability. 
* Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
* Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
*Preferred Qualifications*

* Associates Degree or higher in a field as outlined in the essential duties.
* Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO13485 environment.

$35,000.00 - $56,000.00 
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
