We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsUnder the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic proceduresPerforms at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosisPerforms test in-patients and out-patientsUtilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipmentAdministers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of PracticeDemonstrates industry in radiation safetyWhat qualifications you will need:Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)MRT State of TexasARRT(NM) or NMTCB CertificationNMTCB PET Certification preferredCurrent AHA or ARC BLS provider.If current employee participating in a cross-training program, all training will be completed under direct supervision of registered technologist.
