We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR functions under the supervision of the unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator and performs tasks assisting surgeons in the preparation and handling of instruments, scopes, supplies and equipment during interventional operative cases, specifically cardiovascular. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply todayIs responsible for maintaining sterility of the operative environment and holding others accountable to the sameObserves all universal protocol requirements and surgical technologist standards of careCares for patients from neonate to geriatric What qualifications you will need:Graduate from high school or equivalent programGraduation an accredited school of surgical technology, or completion of a training program for surgical technologists administered by the US Public Health Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard requiredMust have obtained certification from a nationally recognized certification board prior to hire, and will maintain certification without lapse throughout duration of employmentCurrent basic life support certificationExperience in an acute care setting is preferredExperience in the operating room is preferredExperience in CVOR and Vein harvestingComplies with hospital employee health, infection control, and safety management programs Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
