We offer a stable, positive work environment that is a great place to work.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures operation, and limit downtime of equipment by performing inspections, documenting issues, creating parts lists and work-orders (on Upkeep), and performing tasks to eliminate noted issues Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns in a timely fashion and with professionalism Maintain a safe and clean work environment that meets the requirements of our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Generate parts requests for emergency repairs and inventory requirements Modify equipment towards a goal of better efficiencies or to minimize breakdowns Perform machine set-up, change-over and adjustments. Practice lock out/tag out safety procedures and utilize PPE Document work accurately, as required, to meet all policies and procedures Facilities maintenance repairs as necessary Supports Quality Management systems and follows SQF CodeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance or 5+ years in relevant technical services preferred but not required. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems such as: hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and other drive train components. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose minor electrical control systems to prevent, repair, and eliminate equipment failures Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Ability to work with minimal supervision or assistance Ability to recognize hazards and sources of energy Ability to read, interpret equipment manuals to determine proper operations, order parts, and work with equipment OEM s directly for support when necessary. Ability to follow governmental regulations, guidelines and food safety procedures Ability to communicate issues and ideas Ability to work closely with and engage with a team Experience using Upkeep is preferred, but not required.
