Responsible for producing quality product per production schedule with working knowledge of production equipment and operating safely within established guidelines.Main Accountabilities:
Properly identify and handle quality package supplies and product
Ability to lift product that weighs up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Perform and complete package quality check and respond to problems.
Perform manual work such as hand palletizing, taping boxes, adding ingredients, etc.
Perform rework, such as relabeling, transferring, and disposing of product.
Perform all assignments satisfactorily, safely, and maintain good attendance.
Ability to have delegated tasks changed throughout the shift as needed.
Flexibility in working different shifts as needed.
Ability to work OT as needed.
Fork Truck Operation
Cleaning and sanitizing of production lines and tank forms.
Other duties as assigned.Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
Must be able to follow detailed work instructions.
Must be able to climb ladders and comfortable working at heights.
Must be self-directed and able to work alone.
Ability to change jobs due to operation fluctuations.
Must work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
12 Hour Shift, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
$21.84
This is a union hourly position.
Employee eligible for $.50 increase once trained and qualified as spotter.Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not required.
