This role ensures the production of safe, high-quality products that meet both regulatory and customer expectations. You will lead and mentor Quality Managers at each plant, ensuring alignment with operational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all quality and food safety programs across multiple facilities.Supervise and mentor Quality Managers at each plant, promoting accountability and improvement.Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, including HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, and SQF.Support and lead SQF audits, internal and external audits, and manage corrective actions.Develop and maintain quality and food safety documentation and reporting systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new initiatives while maintaining compliance.Lead risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate food safety hazards.Address food safety and quality concerns promptly and lead Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) processes to resolution.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within food or beverage manufacturing, including 3+ years in a leadership role.Expertise in HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and SQF standards.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Proven experience managing quality and food safety programs over multi-plant operations.Certification in HACCP and SQF Practitioner required; additional certifications such as PCQI and ISO 22000 are a plus.EducationBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.Work EnvironmentAbility to travel between facilities up to 50%, especially during audits and facility launches.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.Why Join Us?At FedUp Foods, we believe in creating an environment where employees can thrive both professionally and personally.
