ask your Recruiter for details Job DescriptionThe Coordinator - Parts Room is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of maintenance parts while monitoring overall inventory levels and maintenance spend.What your day will look like: Keeps parts room stocked for repair parts and shop stocked for consumables Researches cost and availability of parts to optimize spend and service Maintains inventory accuracy in parts room. Performs quarterly parts counts, reconciliations, adjustments and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system Verifies receipts and proper storage locations of ordered parts Maintains parts room to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards Purchases supplies for Lab and Production Processes various facility invoices Manages vendor inventory programs Provides month end internal controls reports Maintains hazardous waste disposal records Maintains fire safety inspection records Maintains backflow preventor test records Performs appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed: Minimum of 18 years old Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Ability to work with cross functional teams High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Prefer 1 to 2 years
