This Senior Analyst will bring a strong blend of analytical, communication, and technical skills working closely with teams across the organization. The advanced level analyst will perform and produce analytics and data-driven insights by applying innovative problem-solving approaches. The role will evaluate and improve the performance of Magenta Shared Services: identifying key metrics, evaluating service effectiveness, and implementing process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis, design, develop, and implement procedures to support the goals of the Magenta Services Center (MSC). Assist in the resolution of issues encountered by the business/partners (internal or external)
  • Become a Partner Settlement subject matter expert, supporting enterprise product and service initiatives while working on issues of diverse scope and complexity
  • Maintain and develop internal databases to support settlement efforts
  • Solve complex, multi-faceted problems; deliver simplified solutions that allow the department to seamlessly provide customer service excellence. Support process reviews and improvement initiatives to drive improvement for customers. Proactively identify potential issues and collaborate with cross-functional partners to mitigate issues and risks by planning/implementing solutions with a sense of urgency
  • Develop, maintain, and present interactive dashboard style reporting
  • Prevent 'revenue leakage', identify operational cost reduction opportunities, optimize efficiency
  • Work independently to drive accurate and timely results while consistently evaluating current deliverables for improvement opportunities
  • Foster relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and develop productive partnerships
  • Mentor and support peer analysts with escalated or highly complex solutioning


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical roles focused on financial transactions.
  • Ample experience with systems analysis, and demonstrated understanding of business system solutions
  • Advanced Excel, SQL (Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, SQL server), Visual Basic, Alteryx (self-selects, pivoting data, stored procedures, complex joins, and parameters)
  • Advanced communication skills (oral and written) with ability to appropriately flex style to address various levels of organizational leadership
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience

Base Pay Range: $80,900 - $146,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
