This role will focus on environmental branding, experiential marketing, and visual merchandising (but not limited to a range of print and digital channels, including email, web, direct mail, display, video, and social media). You know the formula for developing brand-building, breakthrough creative that drives results, is on target, and on brand. You will keep the team ahead of the curve and build future creative talent and leaders. What you'll doLead and inspire the team to develop strategically-grounded, insight-driven creativeManage creative talent (Art Directors and Copywriters) including a mix of full-time associates, contractors, and agenciesEmpower and inspire full-time associates through coaching and help them develop in their careersCollaborate with product & marketing strategists and internal business clients to understand customer needs, positively influencing brand strategies and the customer experienceDemonstrate expert knowledge of advertising, marketing, spatial & experiential design trends and translate business intent into integrated creative strategies and executions that market products & our brand presence effectivelyDemonstrate an understanding of the intended audience; interprets market research and tests results, and uses findings to focus targeted marketing messagesBuild and maintain relationships with a network of partner groups (business, operations, legal, etc.) to anticipate and proactively address obstacles and establish Brand Creative as a strategic thought partnerPresent and influence with a convincing and inspiring style to increase buy-in and open the door for new opportunities - both for your team and departmentWho you are You want to be an EVIDENCE-BASED MARKETER who...As an INDIVIDUAL:Your curiosity is endless. You also know when you’re not and need to find oneYou use all this - to make things happen, create amazing work and inspire othersBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience leading creative teamsAt least 5 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)Preferred QualificationsHas created a Creative portfolio that includes produced work for large, integrated marketing campaigns or brand activations5+ years of experience as a Creative Director 2+ years of experience directly managing a creative team2+ years of experience in a 3D or spatial design software (ex. Adobe Substance, Sketchup, etc.)2+ years of experience in digital design software (ex. Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)Experience at a large in-house creative teamExperience working with a Fortune 100 brandExperience in one or more of the following industries or marketing areas: premium, luxury, spatial design, branded environments, travelExperience storyboarding, sketching or wireframing CX and UI/UX At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, CreativeCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
