Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Direct home health services, workflow and resources.Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethicalrequirements of the home health care delivery system.Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.Prepare departmental budget and ensure that department operates within allocated funds.Coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) preferred.Education:Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.Work Experience:5 years of experience required.10 years of experience preferred.2 years of leadership or management experience required.5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences Hospice experience - strongly preferredMinimum of 3 years experience in health care or hospice management - strongly preferredWhy Join Our Team Ascension Illinois delivers compassionate, personalized care throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.
