The AWS Brand Advertising & Social team is looking for a Business Operations Manager to help lead all vendor management, budgeting process, and the rhythm of the business needs. This is your opportunity to be at the intersection of data, analysis, and strategy that will make it possible for our teams to deliver best in case mass advertising to build awareness of the AWS brand. In this role, you will own financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and data analytics projects from beginning to end. You will own the contracting and on-boarding of all vendors including both advertising and social creative agencies. You will work across tax, legal, finance, and operations to achieve business objectives and communicate insights to key stakeholders. You will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation; and drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Key job responsibilities• Establish and own a rhythm of the business that includes weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, 2x2s, operational planning cycles.• Lead all advertising vendor management and on-boarding tasks. • Manage budgeting tasks in AMPS including forecasting creating and maintaining sub-budgets, budget lines, and managing internal transfers for social boosting from stakeholder teams. • Partner with Finance to validate data and provide insights for the monthly finance review.• Support tracking of contracts/work orders, purchase orders, invoicing and internal transfers.• Conduct trend analysis to identify relationships, opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions; incorporate data visualization of statistical analyses.• Develop programs, methodologies, and reports for analyzing and presenting data.• Perform complex data analysis across multiple systems to support both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests.About the teamThe Brand Advertising and Global Social Media Team (GSMT) drives top of mind awareness of AWS through custom content and acts as a megaphone to share key messages (e.g., generative AI and machine learning) through visual storytelling across mass-reach channels (e.g., TV, paid digital, organic social, etc.). to generate an AWS “brand halo” to create a favorable selling environment. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
