Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Agile Project Manager to join our team located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia supporting Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) efforts to implement the architecture, required services, and facilitate adoption of Army Cloud (cARMY) services. The program provides Information Technology services and technical subject matter expertise (SME) to support overall strategy and migration to cARMY environment that currently includes Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure clouds at IL 2, 4, 5 and 6.
The successful candidate oversees and manages the technical project(s) and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Works with prioritization of the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) as the Product Owner to direct/supervise sprints, epics, milestones. Oversees development of sprint review presentation that includes a retrospective, metrics on the prior sprint activities and comparison against prior sprints. Manages approximately two to four sprints per week, leveraging available agile tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.) to present project status information in a dynamic and electronic format or other format as approved by the Government; ensures that release plans are up to date before beginning the next sprint. manages the Product roadmap that is based upon planned epics and major milestones, will be updated monthly.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+years working experience, may substitute experience for education such as High School graduate with 10+ years of experience; candidates with Armed Forces courses, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply
  • DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) Intermediate (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) qualification (e.g. Security+ CA) within 6 months of starting position
  • Must be located within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
  • DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) foundational qualification option at a basic level within 9 months of starting position.
  • Must be located within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • ITILv4 Foundation
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Project Management Institute (PMI)-ACP Cert or comparable Agile certification


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
