A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern New York is now searching for an experienced Fluoroscopy Imaging Specialist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center provides a number of patient care services including behavioral health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services, emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.

Reporting to the Radiology Director, the Fluoroscopy Imaging Specialist serves as a highly skilled radiology professional responsible for operating fluoroscopy equipment and obtaining real-time moving X-ray images used in diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Fluoroscopy Imaging Specialist will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Primary duties include preparing patients for procedures, positioning them for optimal imaging, adjusting equipment settings, adhering to strict radiation safety protocols, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, assisting in the interpretation of images, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Graduate of an approved diagnostic imaging radiology program
  • Current ARRT(R) licensed or equivalent
  • Prior working experience is a plus
