A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern New York is now searching for an experienced Fluoroscopy Radiology Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center provides a number of patient care services including behavioral health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services, emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.

Reporting to the Imaging Director, the Fluoroscopy Radiology Technologist will operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment to capture real-time moving images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Fluoroscopy Radiology Technologist will work closely with radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate positioning of patients and proper use of imaging technology.Primary responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, maintaining radiation safety protocols, adjusting equipment settings for optimal image quality, perform routine maintenance on equipment, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and provide a high standard of patient care throughout the imaging process.

What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Graduate of an approved diagnostic imaging radiology program
  • Current ARRT(R) licensed or equivalent
  • Prior working experience is a plus
