Ensure work areas remain in safe, clean, and sanitary condition• Keep current in advances in analytical methods and potential demand for analytical services• Monitor turn-around times and perform technical and administrative quality control checks on outgoing data toensure accuracy• Communicate pertinent information regarding the daily workings of the laboratory• Make recommendations to lab supervisor for continuous improvement• Provide necessary data for routine and special-request reports to customers and regulatory agencies as required• Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience• Provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or occur in frequently based on existing precedents orprocedures• Explain complex technical information including interdependencies within the team and others• The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, butis not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
