Under supervision from senior accounting staff, this role performs analysis and monitoring of cost and inventory transactions and financial accounts. This role monitors various transactions related to business processes around seed sales (replants, elevator dumps, and general transactional reporting for business stakeholders). Key Responsibilities Detailed monthly review of assigned Sales Area(s) Monitor controls over inventory costing and coordinate resolution of identified variances Complete accounting activities for month end close Perform ad hoc analysis and journal entries are required Work closely with business operations, FP&A, and other financial professionals Navigate multiple ERP systems to complete tasks This position requires strong attention to detail and expertise in managing large data sets and financial information in ExcelTypical Education Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting from 4 year college or universityRelevant Experience 1-3+ years related experience and/or training
