This position will be responsible for theresearch, development, design, management, andimplementation of capital projects throughout AgriBusiness to improve manufacturing or maintenance processes, using project management best practices as defined by the Project Management Institute. To provide consultation and guidance to the facility managers for capital projects that will improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.The Project Manager must be willing to travel as needed to support project execution.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, and develop capital projects that will improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.Manage multiple capital projects with projected scopes ranging from $100k - $25MM, from start-up to completion.Manage capital project implementation utilizing project management best practices.Manage, monitor, and implement cost control measuresto ensure capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Ensure capital projects comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental laws, regulations, requirements and Company Policies, engineering specification, and procedures. Minimum EducationHS Diploma RequiredAA Preferred - Construction/ Project ManagementExperience Requirements10 - 15 years of project execution experienceUnderstanding of manufacturing technologiesUnderstanding of project management techniquesUnderstanding of standard software applications (Excel, AutoCAD, Word, etc.)Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skillsMust possess a valid motor vehicle driver s licenseExperience PreferredProject Management Profession (PMP) Certification preferred but not required.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAble to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0
150'), carrying tools and equipment (0
100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0
100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0
100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (SDS sheets available). Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
