In this role, you will work closely with production and grow teams to efficiently produce high-quality plants. This position involves monitoring environmental conditions, scheduling irrigation, maintaining work zones, and assisting with various tasks related to plant growth and health.Key Responsibilities:- Assist growers in monitoring the environment and promptly report any abnormal conditions. - Schedule and monitor irrigation cycles to ensure proper watering. - Perform routine tests on irrigation water, including EX, pH, ORP, DO and temperature measurements, and promptly report abnormalities. - Operate and maintain greenhouse or nursery equipment and routinely scout for pests and diseases and taking action when necessary.- Use various software systems, including Artemis for data entry and task management. Qualifications: - Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing and verbal communication. - Understanding of basic machines and tools, including their operation and maintenance.- Ability to think logically and analytically to identify alternative solutions to problems. - Ability to work independently and also to collaborate and work well in a team situation too. - Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, etc.)- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred. Why Join Local Bounti?- Work with a passionate and innovative team- Be part of a company that values sustainability and community impact- Competitive pay- Day One benefits, including a wide selection of medical, dental, and vision plans at affordable rates for families, many of which offer FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts) or HSAs (Health Savings Accounts)- A culture of work/life balance with vacation plans and 10 paid holidays- Paid maternity and parental leave, adoption assistance, and caregiving support- Day One 401(k) participation with immediate vesting of company match- Aflac, Life/AD&D, Voluntary STD/LTD, Accident, and Critical Illness coverage- Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) servicesLocal Bounti is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
