Here, you will make an impact by:Performing tests, inspections, and preventative maintenance of equipment to ensure proper operationInstalling, modifying, and upgrading electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer equipmentTroubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment, AC/DC electrical systems, PLC’s, HMI’s, motors, controls, VFD’s and related equipmentAssisting in developing plans to correct equipment deficiencies and determining long term solutions for equipment issues to improve reliabilityCompleting other duties as assigned or necessary including the willingness to work overtime, various shifts, and to be on-call.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)Four (4) years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a multi-craft mechanical/electrical or controls maintenance positionAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Two-year technical degree/diploma in a multi-craft technology programExperience troubleshooting and repairing the following types of equipment in a manufacturing environment: motors, pumps, web handling systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drive systems and related components, valves, brakes, and clutchesDemonstrated proficiency working with electro-mechanical equipment such as pumps, AC/DC motors, motor drives, PLC troubleshooting, etc.Advanced troubleshooting and repair experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems in an industrial environment.Experience in industrial lasers.Demonstrated strong problem-solving and computer skills.Work location: Onsite - 32 River Rd, Stafford Springs, CT 06076Travel: No TravelRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
