Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing work orders, turning over vacant units, and performing other essential maintenance tasks. You must have your own hand tools and drill. Attendance and punctuality are crucial, and we are looking for technicians who are skilled and ready for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing: Repair sinks, showers, and toilets; replace fixtures; unclog drains (including snaking when necessary)
- Electrical: Replace fixtures and switches; follow proper safety protocols; rewire when applicable
- Carpentry: Patch holes, replace doors/locks, hang cabinetry, and perform light touch-up painting
- Appliances: Assist with the installation and minor repair of washers & dryers, stoves, garbage disposals, etc.
- Customer Service: Interact courteously with residents, providing realistic timelines for job completion
- Inventory Management: Report missing or needed parts to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager as instructed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential maintenance (apartments, hotels, or private homes)
- Personal hand tools and drill (must be brought to the site daily)
- Reliable transportation and a team-oriented mentality
- Ability to handle a physically demanding workload
