12am-8am                           PAY RATE                                                   INSURANCE  Medical,Dental,Vision  $50.00 PER WEEK                          Hire date-  20.40                       6 MONTH- 20.90                         1 YEAR-    21.40  Shift will be 4pm-12amGeneral Purpose:Primary duties of this position include but not limited to fluid product receiving, product load out, pasteurization, separation, heat treatment, and reconstitution. Other operational duties include clean-in-place ( CIP), clean–out-of-place (COP) gaskets, master Sanitation, and other tasks in this area as assigned by supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Perform the duties required to maintain assigned area sanitary and clean Receive fluid products and check storage vesselsOperate the milk separator in a manner that produces quality product in compliance with USDA regulationsOperate the “Breddo” high shear mixer to produce reconstituted productObserve product flow into and out of storage vessels and respond to any problems such as leaks or burst linesFollow steps to ensure proper operation and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of the equipment in the areaComplete and maintain H.A.C.C.P record keeping, such as filling in charts and sanitation sheetsTake samples of product in a sanitary fashion for lab testingSet up pipelines, valves, and hosesFollow all DFA GMP’S and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion and sound judgmentEnsure safety and GMP policies and procedures are followedObtain and maintain all certification and licenses that are required   The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required.Complete all classroom training and/or Dairy U Training Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to use and understand calculations used for weightsMust be able to hook up hoses, change jumpersMust comprehend wash tags, shipping and receiving paperwork, and master sanitation schedule; must be able to communicate with trucks and fellow employeesAble to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingAble to identify problems, take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems, and implement recommended solutions Able to take on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be doneAble to work in collaboration effectively and foster good teamwork and promptly share relevant information with othersAble to adapt and manage to change effectivelyAble to perform task and duties without constant supervisionAble to maintain a positive “can do” outlook, rebound quickly from frustrations and unpleasantness, and maintain composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situationsAble to perform all functions and duties, as outlined, in a timely and efficient mannerAble to contribute to the positive performance behaviors to achieve plant resultsAble to set an example for plant personnel with performance behaviors and willingness to learn and share informationMust be able to read, write and speak English
