This position reports to the facility Purchasing Supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities· Unload/load delivery trucks with electric forklift· Load supply trailers with forklift and/or physical material handling· Follow the instructions of the Purchasing Manager / Purchasing Supervisor· Meet deadlines for completion of the delegated tasks· Proper storage and handling of the received stock· Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse· Must be available for weekend shifts· Work on the strapping machine, adding straps to our cardboard combosSkills and Specifications· Forklift experience a must· Must possess the ability to repetitively lift and carry boxes up to 60#· Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively· Should possess the skills of being a good team worker, self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision· Good interpersonal skills for interacting with other departmentsEducation and QualificationsHigh school degree or an equivalent qualificationWarehousing experience a plusForklift operator experience a mustBenefits:Insurance: Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, and Life InsuranceLeave and Holidays: Vacation, Paid HolidaysRetirement: 401K PlanMiscellaneous Benefits: Paid Uniforms (in select departments)Other Benefits: Meat PurchaseEOE/M/F/Vet/DisabledApply online at: jbssa.com/careers
