We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and Qualifications*  This is a FT Weekend shift on Nights, Friday - Sunday, 7pm-7am * The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.  What You Will Do In This Role:Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific examsMust be willing to work both CT and X-RayBe in charge of exam preparations and patient instructionsUtilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessaryObtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usageBe responsible for the post processing of dataAssist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide the best patient careAssist during codesTurn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipmentWhat qualifications you will need:Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRTTX State Registered Radiologic TechnicianRegistered with ARRT and Texas (MRT)Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart AssociationRegistered Radiographer (ARRT)Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care. The facilities are located near Medical City Dallas. They are designed to be efficient and result in faster recoveries. We offer an enhanced patient experience. Medical City Heart Hospital has 65+ private patient rooms. The facility provides a wide array of cardiac services. Services include complex vascular and heart surgery and advanced heart failure treatment. We offer minimally invasive vascular surgery and other specialized heart care. The facility has a dedicated cardiac emergency room. Medical City Spine Hospital has 25+ beds. It provides spine care for common spine disorders. Spine care is also provided for rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities. Those include adult and pediatric scoliosis and spondylolistheses.
