Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated *CT Technologist* to perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient care. This role is essential for delivering accurate diagnostic imaging and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform CT procedures according to established protocols and quality standards.
* Understand radiation dose monitoring and safety practices, including actions when dose reference levels are exceeded.
* Conduct iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels.
* Communicate effectively using AIDET techniques, ensuring patient understanding and comfort throughout the process.
* Prepare patients and exam areas, adjusting positioning and equipment settings to obtain optimal images.
* Adhere to strict safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
* Ensure equipment quality and cleanliness, reporting any issues as necessary.
* Maintain accurate medical imaging records, upholding all regulatory and departmental standards.
* Screen individuals entering the department per approved policies.

Required Skills:
* Competence in conducting CT imaging procedures with minimal oversight.
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients to ease anxiety and explain procedures.
* Customer-focused approach, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
* Knowledge and skills to care for patients across age groups, including newborns to geriatrics.
* Ability to serve as a preceptor, guiding new team members and supporting new initiatives.

Qualifications:
* *Certification*: Must be ARRT certified in Computed Tomography (CT) and additionally certified in Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine (N), or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
* *Salary*: $33-$48/hr, dependent on experience (DOE).
