This site specializes in the production of french fries and mashed potatoes and produces roughly 3 million pounds of french fries a day Position Summary:As the Line Operator you will ensure efficient operator of your assigned packaging lines. As the Operator you will have a variety of job functions, tasks and job duties You will operate all related production equipment in a safe and efficient manner and contribute to the production of our quality products You would be working closely with other Operators to help with set-up, changeover and adjust their lines as needed. Key Responsibilities:1. Set-up and adjust all equipment on assigned packaging line (from feed conveyor to scales through to conveyor feeding palletizing) 2. Performs required inspecting, testing, and recording quality attributes of product. 3.
Set-up, adjust, monitor, and maintain scales.
4. Perform factory and fryer clean-ups, to include high pressure blasting and sanitation. 5. Maintain lab equipment an perform testing 6. Transport totes, product and waste, while maintaining information in the computerQualifications:Ability to read and understand and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems.Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization. Must be able to enter data into a computer.
Physical Demand:
