This site specializes in the production of french fries and mashed potatoes and produces roughly 3 million pounds of french fries a day Position Summary:As the Mashed Potato Line Assistant you will have the opportunity to work on multiple different lines frying potato product. You will assist the Operator with a variety of job functions, tasks and job duties You will operate all related production equipment in a safe and efficient manner and contribute to the production of our quality products You would be working closely with the Operator and provides the opportunity for promotion in to a full time Operator role when available Key Responsibilities:1. Performs daily sanitation at assigned area. 2. Assists operator with changeover responsibilities and equipment set up 3.
Operate forklift
4. Perform factory and fryer clean-ups, to include high pressure blasting and sanitation. 5. Maintain lab equipment an perform testing 6. Transport totes, product and waste, while maintaining information in the computerQualifications:Ability to read and understand and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems.Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization. Must be able to enter data into a computer.
Physical Demand:
