Confidential Sales Executive Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing team and drive success in the wholesale lumber, building materials, and forest products industry.

We are a privately held company specializing in selling building materials for multi-family, commercial, and residential construction projects. Operating nationwide, we are committed to customer satisfaction, safety, teamwork, and profitability.

Position Overview

This full-time, onsite role reports to the Branch Manager (location confidential). It involves cultivating customer relationships, achieving sales and margin goals, managing product delivery, and maintaining market awareness.

Key Responsibilities


  • Meet and exceed annual sales and gross margin goals.
  • Develop new business through lead generation and prospecting.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by monitoring account performance and acting proactively.
  • Coordinate and oversee product shipments, working closely with logistics and account management teams.
  • Conduct market research to inform pricing and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams to align supply with customer demand.

Qualifications


  • Proven track record of sales success, ideally 10 years in the building materials or construction industries.
  • Established relationships with general contractors or framers, especially in the multi-family space (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Growth-oriented, self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools; 4-year degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Competitive commission-based pay with an annual draw of $75,000.
  • Biannual commission settlements (summer and winter).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.
