Here, you will make an impact by:Assist Global Category Managers in implementing global sourcing strategies for multiple IT categories to ensure business continuity and value creation. Negotiating and establishing effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class serviceCollaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities that align with Global IT Procurement goalsCollaborate on overall Procurement guidelines and processes.Coordinate complex projects as well as initiatives that have a high value and broad implication to the corporation.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of indirect procurement experience in a private, public, government or military environmentORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND eleven (11) years of indirect procurement experience in a private, public, government or military environmentIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:5 years of experience with supplier markets5 years of experience with contract negotiationsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or Supply ChainIT procurement contract experienceSkilled written and oral communicationsStakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior levelBusiness, technology, and contract language in addition to financial acumenAnalytics and Interpersonal SkillsMicrosoft Word & Excel SkillsWork location: Remote – United StatesTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Not offeredMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
