Corporate Accountant Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Corporate Accountant for JBS that reports onsite to our Corporate office in Greeley, Colorado. Responsibilities:Prepare fixed asset related journal entries, record depreciation, and account for the transfer and disposition of fixed assetsPerform monthly reconciliations including reconciling the fixed asset subsidiary ledger and construction in progress to the general ledger Responsible for the month-end fixed asset closing processPrepare monthly Capex spend reports and PPE roll forward schedulesCreate, maintain, and coordinate asset audit schedulesAssist in tracking and reconciling capital projectsCoordination with plant teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of capital projectsPrepare audit schedules related to fixed assets and assist with quarterly reviews and auditsVarious ad-hoc reporting requestsOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferredAt least 2 years of relevant accounting experiencePrevious SAP experience is a plusExceptional analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskExcellent time management skillsQuick learner with ability to complete responsibilities independently with proper trainingStrong US GAAP knowledge preferredProficient in Microsoft ExcelCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $55,000-$75,000; andIncentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
