The Head of Sales Finance leverages and fosters a data driven analytical approach and, together with their team, cooperates with the sales leaders in order to drive the execution of the recommended strategies and plans. The role is also responsible for ensuring that trade spending is accurately forecasted, consistent with strategy guidelines, and within budget.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Lead the Sales Finance team to provide effective analytical support to the Sales organization aimed at identifying opportunities and strategies to ultimately deliver sales and profitability growth: Analyzing financial outcomes of sales  strategies, Budgeting and forecasting for sales departments, Managing and planning financial resources for achieving sales targets, Performance monitoring and reporting to identify financial risks and opportunitiesPost event(ROI) analysis, pricing / promotion optimizationPreparation of joint business plan investment proposals or strategic investments and subsequent customer negotiationsCustomer specific analysis to identify areas of improvementMonthly Customer P&L forecasting and reporting Non-working trade data trend analysis, drivers of trend identification ad support to identify actions Responsible for Developing and maintaining financial controls to ensure visibility to and accuracy of the monthly trade spend forecast as well as the respect of the budget targets in the actual spendParticipation in the annual planning process through validation of YoY drivers of demand, trade budgeting, and assist the development of initiatives to achieve targets Review sales finance and trade management processes and implement adjustments to LHD organizationThe Head of Sales Finance is responsible for evaluation of staff in Sales Finance.  Responsibilities will also include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance.
