Description
As a Wild Fork Team Member, you will support our E-Commerce business by fulfilling all orders, ensuring the correct products are picked, packed, and shipped within the customer’s expected delivery time.Frozen is Fresher At Wild Fork Foods, we believe that by controlling every step of the process from farm to fork. As a result, we ensure you get the highest quality, largest selection, and most consistent eating experience. We blast freeze our products at -40 °F to maintain peak freshness, reduce crystallization, and preserves the vitamins and minerals. This process is ten times faster than standard freezing for locked-in taste and tenderness in every bite.Because all of our product is frozen, this means that you will work in a freezer and refrigerated spaces for most of your shift. Of course, it can be cold, but we’ll provide you with the right gear to stay warmEssential Tasks and Responsibilities:Pick and pack products to fulfill ordersAssists in ensuring all outgoing shipments of products meet company standardsOperate an electric pallet jack to transport productVisually inspects product, follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damageResponsible for accurately receiving all perishable products from outside vendors and other storage facilitiesEnsures accurate count and product specs and notifies appropriate personnel of unusual situationsResponsible for accurately rotating stock and maintaining the integrity of the product by ensuring it is in the proper temp environmentHelps clean and level pallets for inventoryEnsure orders are completed, loaded, and shipped that same dayFollows and reaches the KPIs of the businessPerforms other related dutiesPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from -0 degrees Fahrenheit and belowLift and move items up to 50 poundsStand/walk for up to 10-12 hoursRegularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the headHave the personal strength and stamina to walk briskly for most of the day throughout the facilityQualificationsHigh school degree or GED preferred not requiredOne year of Warehouse/Freezer experience preferredAbility to multi-task while being attentive to customers’ orders and remaining flexible to the needs of the businessWork with integrity as a TEAM toward a shared visionBe determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritizationTreat it like you own it –Take ownership and responsibility to be successfulActs with respects and values other opinionsStrong cognitive skills, including problem analyzingExcellent organizational and planning skillsShow dependability and commitmentFundamental math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlinesThe ability to work a flex schedule, working various of hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends/holidays.EOE/Vets/Disability
