We are in search of our next “Magic Maker” at the following location: We are seeking an experienced Senior Area General Manager - Food for our Healthcare Segment to manage and grow our services within Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA. This is an onsite leadership position and will report to the Client Executive 2 overseeing 14 managers and 200 frontline employees in Food & Nutrition Services at the downtown Grady location and 5 managers and 50 frontline employees in Food & Nutrition and Environmental Services at the Crestview Health & Rehabilitation Center. Grady Health This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual to demonstrate their leadership skills, build a strong team, deliver operational and financial excellence, establish strong partner relationships with existing and new clients to assist in the growth and retention of their business and show proven accomplishments. The successful candidate must have strong operations knowledge, understand labor and food cost, financial acumen, process improvement such as Lean Six Sigma, project management, talent management, communication skills, front-line leadership, in addition to a demonstrated track record of developing strong client relationships. The Sr. Area GM is a trusted advisor central to the client partnership and key to delivering results that meet client needs. Has direct accountability for operational excellence ‐ achieved by delivering on our contractual obligations and our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable. Your responsibilities include:Working closely with client managers, supported by dedicated Sodexo finance manager, project managers, HR Director, Division President, CFO and supply chain representative.Coordinating and directing all activities including financial performance, client retention, policy compliance, and employee training and development.Works with clients and RVP in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention.Develops a business plan and budget for the assigned accounts in conjunction with the account GM.Delivering and maintaining financial results.You have:Experience in food and environmental services operations management in healthcare as well as working in multiple sites.Knowledge of latest trends and innovations to drive client valueTrack record demonstrating strong leadership skillsAbility to build and develop a strong teamStrong organizational skillsClient relationship skillsStrong communication skills and ability to interact from frontline to C-suiteBusiness development skills to identify and successfully target growth opportunities among existing clientsFinancial and creative problem-solving acumenSales exposure is desired Sodexo offers a full array of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K and access to ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness programs.
