It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of dairy and enrich our communities – come join us Compensation: $25.52 + additional wage increases based upon achieving specific competencies Production Relief Operators perform job duties within the manufacturing environment to provide relief for planned (vacation, break) and unexpected absences to ensure the continual production of product. This is a regular, full-time position, working at least 40 hours a week. BENEFITS:Competitive payComprehensive healthcare benefitsUnion pension plan and 401(k)Paid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities – we promote from withinService recognition and employee rewardsEmployee referral program Job Duties and Responsibilities:Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production lineEnsure that the proper materials are used for each product being producedComplete all required documentation and quality checksRecord and document all production runs, downtime, weights, code dates, and label verificationsReview charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic formatPerform cleaning and sanitation tasks on equipment in both manual and automated capacitiesPrepare equipment for next run to include size changes as neededTroubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficultiesMaintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of productionEnsure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’sReview process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshootReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
