The Sherwin-Williams Finance Automation & Insights Internship Program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in predictive insights and business process automation.  


The 10-week program features a singular experience in Business Process Automation or Predictive Planning and Insights (PPI) with cross-functional exposure across Sherwin-Williams to develop the foundation for what it takes to become a successful leader in our organization.    


You will gain meaningful exposure to innovative technologies, predictive analytics, and processes that drive results, all while developing the skills necessary for a successful career at Sherwin-Williams. You will also have the opportunity to visit business group locations to gain an understanding of the different divisions. 



This internship program is scheduled to take place during summer of 2025.

Day to Day Responsibilities:   



You will develop knowledge of automation capabilities including machine learning & AI technologies, complete special projects solving for unique business problems, exploring automated integrated business planning solutions, and educate different groups within Sherwin-Williams on the power of predictive analytics & process automation.  


Leadership Development:   


You will complete a project to contribute to the continuous improvement of our functional processes, allowing you to see the significant role our employees play in Sherwin-Williams' success.      


Professional Networking:   


You will partner with fellow interns, work with a variety of finance and accounting experts, and network with Sherwin-Williams leaders.

Step 1 – Online Application

Step 2 – Digital Interview  


 


Upon review of your application, qualified candidates will be invited to complete a digital video interview via HireVue, our interview partner. The interview will consist of a few behavioral based questions  


You’ll be able to record and complete your video interview anytime, anywhere While you can complete this video interview on your own schedule, we ask that this step be completed within 7 days of receiving an invitation  


 


Step 3 – Panel Interview 


Your video interview is reviewed by a member of our Recruitment team and our top candidates are invited to meet with out team in a virtual Microsoft teams panel interview.



Minimum Requirements  



Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age   


Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.   


Must be currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Engineering, Mathematics 

 
Preferred Qualifications  



Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program  
Have prior school or work experience in statistical modeling and/or machine learning algorithms, researching new concepts, ideas, and technologies, formulating hypotheses, drawing conclusions, and delivering results to technical and non-technical audiences 


Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)  


Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.    


Previous experience in the Sherwin-Williams Corporate Finance Internship Program
