Unit Description: Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, a 152-bed level II trauma center located in Corpus Christi, TX.  The dietitian in this role will provide nutrition care to a variety of patients, including those on our level II ICU. Remote charting capabilities offered - this is not a fully remote position but does allow for generous flexibility with remote charting as needed. No weekends Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually   Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will: provide inpatient coverage on a variety of units, including the ICU, all maternal floors and psychiatric unitbe flexible, reliable and knowledgeable;serve as a respected member of the interdisciplinary team;act as a clinical educator, giving presentations to healthcare team members on a variety of nutrition topics as needed;be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic interns, new hires, and peers; andalways project an image of professionalism. Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
