Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Regional West Coast Sales Manager with a strong background in the Foodservice Industry/Frozen Food and Frozen Pasta to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the foodservice market. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership, building and maintaining relationships with foodservice establishments such as restaurants and restaurant chains. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our products, providing exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth in our assigned territory. The Regional West CoastSales Manager is also responsible for supporting senior leadership on the execution of business in their assigned area. Pasta Mia is engaged in the business of manufacturing, marketing, and sales of high-quality pasta products. Primarily perform the job duties at the following location: 826 Enterprise Way, Fullerton, CA or at assigned territory.Required Skills/Abilities:Solid track record of sales success including strategy, planning, and impeccable follow upPrepare marketing and sales material in the effort to promote the company with the best image, organization, and marketing/sales/business success strategies, and to acquire new business and accountsSolid track record of sales in FoodService, Frozen Foods, and Frozen Pasta(highly preferred)To manage and to develop sales team for the purpose and acquiring new business accounts, and increasing sales with existing customers accounts as assignedTo represent the company at all promotional events such as food shows and other events as deemed necessary by the President an CEO, for the purpose of acquiring new distributors, corporate accounts, restaurant chains, and retail/large-end usersBuild strategic alliances and communication with industry partners to drive awareness, brand value, and businessExcellent presentation skills including listening and asking impactful questionsWorking knowledge of and literacy in computer software, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applicationsAbility and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekendsAbility and willingness to travel up to 70%. Some overnight travel will be requiredDemonstrated ability to proactively recognize and pursue business opportunitiesAbility to make solid business decisions and champion causes as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all organizational levelsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage a variety of tasks, focusing on those with the highest business impact, including anticipating problem s and talking appropriate preventive action to avoid crises whenever possibleDemonstrated proficiency in cross functional leadership skillsTeam player who links their activities to company objectives, dedication to continuous improvement, and removes obstacles leading to successEducational and Experience:3
5 years of experience in grocery sales preferred which should include both independent and/or chain accountsExperience managing a food service industry managementFour+ years
experience managing people including performance management and salary administrationAbility to use a variety of presentation styles to close the sales processAssociates degree required; bachelor s degree strongly preferredPhysical Requirements: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
