Fun Served Here .SUMMARYResponsible for managing the distribution operations and functions within the organization. Responsible for the flow of materials and goods through a business. Oversees the departments that receive materials and supplies into a business. Supervises, hires, and trains all individuals in the shipping, stocking and receiving operations. Must be efficient and knowledgeable of the organization s supply chain procedures in order to meet customer demands and deliver finished products on time and within budget.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee warehouse operations.Oversee the transportation of goods.Develop and implement a logistics process.Received inventory goods and raw materials that arrive from vendorsReview and approve purchase orders.Ascertain how much freight to place on shipments.Monitor progress of major shipments to ensure receipt.Direct the activities of logistics division.Ensure goods are stored properly and at the right temperature.Decide appropriate quantities of items to stock.Ensure inventory maintains optimal levels.Negotiate contracts and prices.Identify employees

Ability to communicate with personnel at different levels.Technical knowledge and skills: Must possess strong computer skills.
